Albany Travels to Syracuse for NCAA Men's Lacrosse First Round

America East Champion Albany will travel to Syracuse for the first round of the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship. The game will be played at the Carrier Dome Sunday (May 16) at 1 p.m.

The seven-time NCAA Champion Orangemen are the No. 4 seed in the championship and are making their 22nd-straight NCAA appearance. Syracuse enters with a record of 11-2. The Great Danes are making their second-straight NCAA appearance and have a record of 10-5 after their 10-4 win over Binghamton in the America East Championship Saturday.

The winner of the Albany-Syracuse game plays the winner of the Towson-Georgetown game Sunday at May 23 at Ithaca, N.Y.
