Boston University senior forward Rashad Bell was named America East Player of the Week for the second-straight time. Stony Brook guard Antwan Hardy was selected Rookie of the Week. The honors were announced Monday (December 13).

Bell (Queens, N.Y./St. Francis Prep) averaged 18.5 ppg and was 13-of-16 from the floor (.812) in two games. He scored 17 points and went over the 1,000-point plateau for his career in a 92-55 win at Harvard Tuesday. The 6-8 senior added 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field as the Terriers dropped an 80-74 decision at Boston College Saturday.

Hardy (Rockville, Md./Montrose Christian) made the most of his first career start by scoring a season-high 19 points, including the go-ahead foul shots with 14 seconds left in overtime, in an 80-78 win at Navy Saturday. The 6-1 freshman, who was starting in place of injured Mitchell Beauford (Dix Hills, N.Y./Christ the King), added four rebounds and two assists. This effort followed a 10-point, five-rebound, two-assist, two-steal performance off the bench in a 62-56 loss at Rhode Island Wednesday.
