Men's Soccer Seeds Set

Boston University (6-2-1 in America East, 9-7-1 overall) has clinched the No. 1 seed in the America East Men's Soccer Championship while Albany (6-2-1, 12-3-2) has earned the No. 2 seed. Those two teams draw first-round byes and will play host to semifinal games on Wednesday, November 10.

Vermont (4-3-2, 9-5-4) is the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 Stony Brook (4-3-2, 11-5-2) in a first-round game Saturday (November 6) at 11 a.m. Binghamton (4-2-3, 10-2-6) is the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 New Hampshire (3-3-3, 5-6-6) in a first-round game Saturday (November 6) at 1 p.m.

The six-team championship will be decided Sunday, November 14. The semifinals are set for Wednesday, November 10. First-round games of the six-team championships will be played Saturday, November 6. All games will be at the home field of the higher seeds.

The winner of the America East Championship receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship. Last season, Binghamton won its first America East Men’s Soccer title with a penalty kick decision over Northeastern at West Gym Field.
