Boston University senior midfielder Andrew Dorman was selected in the sixth round of the Major League Soccer Draft Friday (January 16). Dorman was the fourth pick of the New England Revolution and 58th overall selection.
A three-time America East first team all-conference selection, Dorman led the Terriers and ranked fourth in the nation in assists in 2003, averaging 0.71 assists per game on the strength of 12 assists in 17 contests. The midfielder also led the Terriers in scoring with 18 points and was tied for fourth on the team in goals with three.
During his four-year tenure, Dorman set a Boston University record with 37 career assists. He scored 22 goals for a career total of 81 points, which ties him for seventh on the Terrier career scoring list.
