Sophomore midfielder Alyssa Trudel (Shoreham, Vt./Middlebury Union) of Boston University and sophomore attack Vanessa Cox (Newton, Mass./North) of Vermont share America East Player of the Week honors, while sophomore goalkeeper Anne Sheridan (Baltimore, Md./Roland Park) of Boston University was named America East Defender of the Week and Lindsay Lewis (Glenelg, Md./Glenelg) of Boston University was chosen America East Rookie of the Week. All awards were announced Monday (April 28).
Trudel had four goals and four assists in the win at Vermont Friday and added five goals and an assist in the 13-8 win at New Hampshire Sunday as the Terriers clinched the top seed in the America East Championship.
Cox had five goals in the 12-7 win over Stony Brook Sunday as the Catamounts gained a championship berth and the No. 3 seed.
Sheridan made 12 saves in the 13-8 win at New Hampshire Sunday and also had three saves in a 17-1 win at Vermont Friday.
Lewis had four goals and three assists in the 17-1 win at Vermont Friday and a goal and three assists in the 13-8 win at New Hampshire Sunday.
