Three America East baseball teams are ranked in the CollegeBaseballInsider.com Northeast Coaches Poll for April 22nd. University of Vermont (18-5 overall, 3-1 America East) moved up from 13th to 12th, moving past University of Maine (22-10, 6-2), which fell from eighth place to a tie for 14th with Stony Brook University (19-11, 9-3), which made its debut in the top-15 after being among those receiving votes last week. University of Richmond (31-7) maintained the top spot with 5 of the 8 first place votes and 116 total points.

Teams point values are determined by each coach’s rankings, with 15 points for first place, and descending by one point for each place away from first.

The Eastern Coaches Poll consists of 76 teams in the Northeast and East Regions declared by the NCAA. These two regions consist of eight conferences (America East, Atlantic 10, Big East, Colonial, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Northeast and Patriot), and two independents.
