Boston University senior Jochen Dieckfoss finished 72nd at the NCAA Men's Cross Country Championship at Byrnes Park/Irv Warren Memorial Golf Course in Waterloo, Iowa. Dieckfoss covered the 10K course in 30:40. Dathan Ritzenhein of Colorado won the event in 29:14.
Dieckfoss was one of two at-large selections to the NCAA Championship after finishing ninth at the NCAA Northeast Regional November 15 at Franklin Park. He covered the 10K course at Fanklin Park in 30:29.
A four-time America East Cross Country Champion and four-time participant in the NCAA Cross Country Championship, Dieckfoss was one of 255 men's competitors at the national meet.
