Northeastern's Mari Creatini (Newton, Mass./Newton North) and New Hampshire's Katie White (Glens Falls, N.Y./Glens Falls) have been named America East Co-Players of the Week, while redshirt freshman Erin Prediger (Telford, Pa./Souderton Area) of Boston University has been named Rookie of the Week.
Creatini scored the game-winning overtime goal against crosstown rival Boston University to break NU's single-season goals record. She then added two goals and an assist in 8-0 win over Albany to break the NU single-season points record (67). White recorded 11 points with five goals and two assists to help keep UNH atop the America East standings with a pair of conference victories. She set career highs in both goals (four) and points (nine) against UMBC; all nine of her points were recorded in the first half. White also scored UNH’s first goal against Maine to pull the ‘Cats into a 1-1 tie in the 30th minute.
Prediger allowed eight goals and made 23 saves in three games. She had a career-high 14 saves in a 3-1 loss at No. 11 Connecticut and made four saves, allowing only one goal in a 1-0 overtime loss at No. 12 Northeastern. Prediger ended the week with five stops and four goals allowed in a 5-1 loss to No. 8 Princeton. For the week, she posted a .741 save percentage and a 2.67 goals against average.
