Maine (3-3-3 America East, 7-7-4 overall) defeated UMBC (5-0-3, 10-2-5), 4-1, Saturday to earn the No. 6 seed in the America East Men's Soccer Championship. Hartford (5-3-1, 9-8-2) defeated Boston University (4-2-3, 9-7-3), 3-2 in overtime to earn the No. 3 seed in the championship.

No. 1 seed UMBC and No. 2 seed Binghamton (4-1-4, 10-2-6) draw byes in the first round of the America East Men's Soccer Championship and will host semifinal games Saturday (November 8) at 1 p.m.

No. 3 Hartford will host No. 6 Maine Wednesday (November 5) night at 7. No. 4 Boston University will host No. 5 Northeastern (4-4-1, 8-7-3) at that same time.

UMBC will play host to the winner of the Boston University-Northeastern game Saturday at 1 p.m. Binghamton will host the winner of the Hartford-Maine game also at 1 p.m. that day.

The championship game will be played at the higher remaining seed on Saturday or Sunday, November 15 or 16.

The winner of the America East Men's Soccer Championship receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
