Adomat, Chabot, Ursillo Garner Volleyball Accolades

Northeastern's Larissa Adomat (Houston, Texas/Westfield) and Kristin Ursillo (San Diego, Calif./La Jolla) have been named America East Player of the Week and Setter of the Week respectively, while Maine's Justine Chabot (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan/Aden Bowman Collegiate Institute) has received Rookie of the Week honors.

Adomat hit .400 on the week while averaging 3.57 kills and 1.29 blocks per game to lead the Huskies to their 12th consecutive victory. In NU's 3-1 win over UMBC, Adomat tallied 17 kills on 29 attacks with only one error for a .552 hitting percentage. Earlier in the weekend, she had eight kills and five blocks as the Huskies downed Binghamton 3-0.

A freshman defensive specialist/outside hitter, Chabot had a strong week for Maine. Chabot had 19 digs against Stony Brook on Friday night, before tallying 21 digs and three aces against Hartford on Saturday afternoon.

Ursillo was the catalyst of the Husky offense that won its 12th-straight victory. Ursillo recorded 92 assists in NU's two matches on the week (13.14 apg). She also had 16 kills on the week while hitting .366.
