Binghamton junior forward Tracy Kasmarcik (Binghamton, N.Y./Susquehanna Valley) was named America East Player of the Week while New Hampshire midfielder Ashlee Cieslak (Greendale, Wisc./Pius XI) and Vermont forward Jamie Koehnlein (Honeoye, N.Y./Honeoye) shared Rookie of the Week honors. The awards were announced on Monday, September 30.

Kasmarcik had five goals and an assist to help the Bearcats to a 2-0 week. She recorded her first career hat trick in a 7-1 win over Howard Friday (September 27). She then scored the game-winning goal with two seconds left in the second overtime in a 4-3 decision at Colgate on Sunday (September 29). Her highlight-reel tally came after she collected a 40-yard pass on the left side, popped the ball over a defender and beat the goalkeeper with a high shot from 15 yards out. Kasmarcik, who leads the Bearcats and America East in scoring with seven goals and four assists, also had an assist vs. Colgate.

Cieslak set up the game-tying goal in the 86th minute and then scored the game-winner with 49 seconds remaining as the Wildcats won at Rhode Island, 2-1 on Friday (September 27). Koehnlein scored the game's lone goal in a 1-0 win over Albany on Sunday (September 29) as the Catamounts won their America East opener.
