Northeastern sophomore Liane Dixon (Vineyard Haven, Mass./Martha's Vineyard) and Boston University's Natalie DiSabato (New Albany, Ohio/Columbus Academy) were named Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, by America East on Monday, September 30.

Dixon scored four goals in two games this week, as the ninth-ranked Huskies went 1-1 on a road trip to North Carolina. Friday night, Dixon tallied a hat-trick, scoring the first two goals of the game, in Northeastern's 5-1 triumph over Appalachian State. On Sunday afternoon, with the Huskies trailing 13th ranked Duke 2-1 with less than 10 minutes to play, Dixon crossed over two Duke defenders and looped a shot just over the outstretched arms of Duke goalie Erica Perrier to tie the contest at 2-2. Dixon now has eight goals in nine games this season.

DiSabato came off the bench for the Terriers to score the game-winner against Ball State on Sunday (September 29), giving the Terriers a 3-2 win over the Cardinals, who were ranked 23rd in this week's NFHCA poll. She teamed with fellow freshman forward Caitlyn Cassara to score from the right side on a 2-on-1 breakaway with 20 minutes left in the contest.
