Boston University's Lindsey Domers (Vorhees, N.J./Eastern) and Northeastern's Jay Quinn (Watertown, Mass./Watertown) took the first weekly honors for America East on September 3.
Domers earned America East Player of the Week honors after scoring game-winning goals in the Terriers' 2-0 week. She tallied the game-winner with 20:49 left in a 2-1 win at Massachusetts on Saturday (August 31) and then added two goals in the 7-1 win over Quinnipiac Monday (September 2). She had three goals in 43 games entering the 2002 campaign.
Jay Quinn was named America East Rookie of the Week after scoring a goal in her first collegiate game, a 4-0 win over Quinnipiac Saturday (August 31).
