Binghamton sophomore forward Tatiana Mathelier (Pamona, N.Y./Saddle River Day) was named America East Player of the Week on September 23, while New Hampshire forward Jackie Wishoski (Malden, Mass./New Hampton Prep) and Stony Brook forward Jacqueline Anthony (New Brighton, Minn./Irondale) shared Rookie of the Week honors.
Mathelier had five points on the week as the Bearcats picked up two wins. She scored the game-winner and assisted on another goal in a 4-1 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Friday (September 20). She then scored in the 79th minute at St. Bonaventure on Sunday (September 23) to send the game to overtime, where the Bearcats won it on a goal by Rosey Mustafa.
Wishoski had a goal and an assist as the Wildcats defeated Albany, 3-0, on Sunday (September 22) in the America East opener for both schools. Anthony had her first collegiate hat trick with three goals in the 6-0 win over Iona Friday (September 20).
