Senior shortstop Erica Sobel (Worcester, Mass./Worcester Academy) of Maine, senior Andi Miller (Severn, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) of Hartford and Stony Brook outfielder Stephanie DiBiase (Hamilton, N.J./Notre Dame) were named Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week by America East on May 6.
Sobel led the Black Bears to four conference wins to secure the No. 3 seed in the conference championship. Sobel drove home the winning run in the Black Bears' 1-0 win at Stony Brook then hit .385 with four RBI as Maine took three of four from Binghamton.
Needing two wins to secure the No. 2 seed in the America East Championship, Miller tossed back-to-back shutouts in 1-0 wins over Albany. She allowed two hits on Saturday and three on Sunday while striking out 13 in the two games.
DiBiase hit .577 in seven games with two home runs and three RBI. She closes the season with a .338 average with six home runs and 22 stolen bases in 22 attempts.
