First-year right fielder Jeff Heriot (Franklin, Mass./Franklin) of Northeastern, senior Anthony Stutz (Buffalo, N.Y./Erie CC) of Stony Brook and shortstop Bobby Tewksbary (Hudson, N.H./Alvirne) of Vermont were named America East Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week on May 6.

Heriot hit .533 with 7 RBI in six games for the Huskies. He had the game-winning hits in each of the three wins over Stony Brook, singling in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh in a 6-5 win Saturday, adding a walk-off home run in the 2-1 win in the nightcap and adding an RBI single in the bottom of the fifth inning of Sunday's 6-4 win.

Stutz is the America East Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. Stutz hurled a two-hit complete-game win, striking out five and walking one in a 2-0 win at Northeastern Sunday.

Tewksbary helped lead the Catamounts to a 5-1 record in the conference last week. Tewksbary hit .429 and also drew six walks while scoring seven runs.
