Player of the Week: Tyler Francey, a senior midfielder from the University of Hartford (Brampton, Ohio/Mayfield) is this week's Player of the Week. He had a huge week for the 2-0 Hawks as he moved into second place on the team in scoring with six goals and seven assists on the week. In the win over Providence on Wednesday night, he had six goals and assisted on the winning goal in a 16-9 decision. The six goals was a career high for the senior. In the 17-10 conference win over Vermont, Francey had a career-high six assists, including four in the second half when the Hawks outscored Vermont 10-4 to earn the victory.
Rookie of the Week: Luke Daquino, a freshman attacker University at Albany (Farmingville, N.Y/Sachem) earns the Rookie of the Week honor. He scored two goals and tied a career-high with four assists in a 16-2 America East win over Binghamton. He converted two of four shots, and totaled four ground balls. Daquino had two goals and two assists in the first half to hand his team a 7-0 lead at the intermission. He is averaging 5.50 points per game in conference play and leads Albany in scoring with 31 points (14 goals, 17 assists), and has a .400 shot percentage (14 of 35).
