Hartford enior Liz Nadeau (Woburn, Mass./Woburn), Albany senior Sarah Maida (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh Free Academy) and Boston University first-year shortstop Jamie Haas (Spring, Texas/Klein) were named Player, Pitcher and Rookie of the Week, respectively, by America East on April 3.

Nadeau leads America East in batting with a .412 average and has added five RBI for the 8-3 Hawks. The designated player has started all 11 games and leads the Hawks in slugging percentage (.500). She is also 2-0 in the circle with a 0.90 earned run average.

Maida is a large reason why the Great Danes are off to a 15-5 start. Maida is 9-1 with an 0.78 earned run average while striking out 36 in 56.2 innings pitched. She has surrendered only two earned runs in her last 34.2 innings and had three shutouts in that span. She earned two wins over Stony Brook last weekend as the Great Danes started 3-1 in America East.

Haas leads the Terriers in total bases and slugging percentage while also batting .312. She has added five stolen bases in seven attempts. The shortstop went 2-for-3 in the second game Friday as the Terriers defeated Vermont for the doubleheader sweep en route to a perfect 4-0 start in America East.
