Albany (5-0 in America East, 8-6 overall) has earned the No. 1 seed in the America East Men's Lacrosse Championship and will play host to No. 4 Quinnipiac (2-3, 6-6) in an America East semifinal Wednesday, May 1 at 3 p.m.
Second-seeded Hartford (4-1, 9-6) will play host to third-seeded Stony Brook (3-2, 8-6) in the other semifinal Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The winners of the two semifinal games will meet Saturday, May 4 at the higher seed. The game time will be announced at a later date. The winner of the America East Championship receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship.
Albany was a 13-12 winner in overtime at Quinnipiac on March 30 when the teams met in the regular season. Hartford won at Stony Brook, 9-8, on March 12.
