Sophomore first baseman Barry Chamberland (Bellows Falls, Vt./Bellows Falls) is the America East Player of the Week after helping the Catamounts to three wins in four tries vs. Maine. Teammate Brian Robinson (Cape Elizabeth, Maine/Cape Elizabeth) is the America East Pitcher of the Week while Binghamton pitcher Tom Gaube (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) and Northeastern pitcher Devin Monds (Ottawa, Ontario/Nepean) share America East Rookie of the Week honors.

Robinson, a junior, fired a two-hitter with seven strikeouts in a 3-0 win over Maine. The left-hander silenced the Black Bears, who came into the game averaging 9.4 runs per contest and had been shutout only twice previously, both by No. 1 Clemson.
Gaube pitched 7 innings on no-hit relief in the Bearcats' 9-7 loss to Northeastern in 14 innings Sunday. Monds was the tough-luck loser in a 1-0 loss at Binghamton. The right-hander allowed three hits while striking out seven and walking three.
