For the week he had seven goals and four assists, both team highs. The senior now has 219 career points in 52 career games.

Rookie of the Week: Kyle Pearl, a freshman defenseman from Stony Brook University (Oceanside, N.Y/Oceanside) earns the Rookie of the Week honor. Pearl showed his versatility in Stony Brook’s 2-0 week. The rookie defender took care of business on the defensive end, scooping up a team-high 13 ground balls in two games. He not only dominated defensively, but pitched in on offense as well. He notched two assists in the win over Binghamton and came back to record a goal and an assist Saturday against Vermont. His goal on Saturday gave him three for the year as he became the first defensemen to score at least three goals in a season since Ed Havel did it for the then Patriots in 1994.
