Player of the Week: Brian LaMastro, a senior midfielder from the University of Hartford (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) is this week's Player of the Week. LaMastro continued his attack on the Hartford record books this season posting two six goal games and inching closer to the career goals mark at Hartford. He had six goals and three assists in the win over Boston College on Wednesday night and followed that up with six goals and two assists in the conference win over Binghamton on Saturday night. The senior had 37 goals on the season, good for fifth on the single-season list at Hartford and the most he has scored in a single season for the Hawks. He is 12 goals shy of matching former teammate Tracey Kelusky’s all-time goals mark at the school. LaMastro already holds the record for career points and assists.

Rookie of the Week: Steve Conlon, a freshman attacker Stony Brook University (Rehobeth, Del./Cape Henlopen) earns the Rookie of the Week honor. In Saturday’s loss to Albany, Conlon was arguably the best player on the field. The sensational rookie totaled a career-high six points by scoring four goals and two assists – factoring in on six of Stony Brook’s seven goals. He also had a goal disallowed. His four-goal total also set a new career-high. Conlon has scored at least one point in 10 of 11 games .
