Player of the Week: Kevin Pall, a senior attacker from Stony Brook University (Merrick, N.Y./Calhoun) continued his torrid goal scoring streak, totaling nine goals in two games. He started off the week with a four-goal effort in SB’s 14-4 win over Lafayette on Wednesday. Pall’s third tally of the game, which came early in the third quarter, was the 100th of his career which made him only the second player to school history to score 100 or more goals in a career. Agains the 14th-ranked Midshipmen, Pall showed why he is one of the best attackmen in the nation. He scored a game-high five times, including three straight in the fourth quarter which gave SB a 10-9 lead late in the game. It was the fifth time in his career that he has scored five or more goals in a single game. He now leads the nation in goals (22) and goals per game (3.67).

Rookie of the Week: Steve Conlon, a freshman attacker from Stony Brook University (Rehobeth, Del./Cape Henlopen) wins his second Rookie of the Week honor in as many weeks. Coming off his first America East Rookie of the Week selection, Conlon again showed why he is one of the most impressive freshman in the nation. He totaled seven points (3g, 4a) for the second straight week. He equaled his season-high with four points (1g, 3a) in the win over Lafayette and bettered that performance with a pair of goals and an assists in SB’s near upset of No. 14 Navy. Conlon has scored a least a point in all six games this season.
