Wallace, Mongeon, Prueske Named for Weekly Honors

Vermont senior forward Adam Wallace (Delta, British Columbia/Delta Secondary) was named America East Player of the Week while Maine goalkeeper Chad Mongeon (Essex Junction, Vermont/Essex) and Northeastern forward Bennie Prueske (Freiburg, Germany/Hellerud) share America East Rookie of the Week honors. All honors were named on Monday, October 28.

Wallace became the first Catamount since 1976 and only the second ever to score four goals in a game when he netted each of the Catamounts' goals in a 4-2 win over Hartford Saturday (October 26). Wallace now has six goals in his last three games and seven goals in 10 games this season.

Mongeon made four saves in his second career start to help lift the Black Bears to their first America East win of the season, 1-0 over Binghamton Sunday (October 27).

Prueske scored the game-winner and assisted on the Huskies' other goal in a 2-1 win over Boston University on Wednesday (October 2).
