Boston University senior goalkeeper Susan Harrington (Tuftonboro, N.H./Kingswood Regional) and New Hampshire forward Katie White (Glens Falls, N.Y./Glens Falls) were named Player and Rookie of the Week by America East on Monday, October 14.
Harrington held a pair of Top 20 teams in check, leading Boston University to victories over No. 15 Princeton, 2-0, and No. 19 Maine, 4-1. Harrington was the deciding factor in a game vs. Princeton on Sunday (October 13) which was dominated statistically by the Tigers. The Terriers were outshot 22-6, and Princeton also held a penalty corner advantage of 14-4. Harrington completed the win over the Tigers with 11 saves, a number of them coming in the Tigers' 15-shot second half, in which she made several crucial saves, allowing the Terriers to hold onto their lead, and the win. She also had five saves in Saturday's (October 12) win over Maine, the conference opener for both teams.
White scored a career-high two goals in New Hampshire's 13-1 victory against Albany on Sunday (October 13). She scored goals in a span of 2:45 (at 12:22 and 15:07) to increase the Wildcat lead from 4-0 to 6-0.
