Vermont's Trevor Gaines (Farmington Hills, Mich./Farmington) is the Spalding Player of the Week for the second time this season while Maine's Joe Campbell (Bangor, Maine/Bangor) was named Spalding Rookie of the Week for the first time.

Gaines posted game-highs of 23 points and 10 rebounds in his first game in his homestate as a collegian, a 75-62 loss to Michigan. He also had 14 points and 12 rebounds in the 72-67 win at Stony Brook, his seventh double-double in nine America East contests.

Campbell was a model of efficiency, connecting on 4-of-6 three-pointers and 3-of-3 free throws en route to 15 points. He also added eight rebounds and four assists with just one turnover. The 6-6 swingman now leads America East in three-point field goal percentage (conference games only) at 54.8 percent (17-of-31).
