Albany junior goalkeeper Trevor Serraro (Shenorock, N.Y./Somers) and Hartford forward Alon Lubezky (Kfar Shmaryahu, Israel/Yovel Herzlia) were named Adidas Player and Rookie of the Week by America East for the week ending October 7.

Serraro did not allow a goal last week as the Great Danes were the only team in America East to post a perfect 3-0-0 record. Serraro had nine saves, including a diving stop on a penalty kick in the 1-0 win over New Hampshire on Sunday and also posted a shutout of Maine and combined on a shutout vs. Stony Brook.

Alon Lubezky had four goals, including two game-winners, and three assists for 11 points as the Hawks were 2-0-1 in three America East road games. Lubezky assisted on the game-tying goal, then scored the game-winner and added an insurance goal, all in the second half, as the Hawks defeated defending America East champion Vermont on Tuesday. He added the game-winner and an assist in a 2-0 win at Delaware Friday and had a goal and an assist in a 2-2 tie at Towson Sunday.
