Hofstra sophomore midfielder Marisa Pistone (Hicksville, N.Y./Hicksville) and Boston University forward Melissa Shulman (Huntington, N.Y./Walt Whitman) were named Adidas America East Player and Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 28.
Pistone scored the game-winner with 1:33 left in the first overtime as the Pride clinched an America East Championship berth with a 3-2 win over Stony Brook Sunday. She also had an assist in that game.
Shulman scored the game's lone goal as the Terriers moved into first place in America East with a 1-0 win over Hartford on Friday night. Shulman scored her sixth goal of the season at 59:53.
